Barnegat, NJ—Unshredded Nostalgia, New Jersey’s only metropolitan-style poster gallery, announces its next poster gallery exhibit titled “African-Americans on the Big Screen.”  It will open to the public on Saturday, April 7 and run thru June 30, 2007. 

“Over the last few months, a number of gallery visitors asked me about movie posters and memorabilia featuring African-Americans,” states gallery owner Jim Episale. “After perusing thru thousands of posters in my personal collection, I catalogued a cache that will be displayed in my next exhibit.”

Hundreds of movie posters from the last 5 decades, 1940-1989, will be on display immortalizing some of the best African-American movies including………….. Some of the actors on display are Sidney Portier, Mantan Mooreland, Richard Pryor, Halle Berry, Whoopi Goldberg. Denzel Washington, Pam Grier, and Whitney Houston.
