New Photo Exhibit at Barnegat Gallery
Barnegat, NJ—Unshredded Nostalgia, New Jersey’s only metropolitan-style poster gallery, announces its next photo gallery exhibit featuring the work of George A. Eisenman. The exhibit titled “Juxtaposition” will open to the public on Saturday, June 16 and run thru September 30, 2007.
Eisenman, a graduate of Antonelli’s School of Photography, began his career as an apprentice with James Dillon and Company in 1945. James A Dillon and Company is one of the oldest photographic firms in Philadelphia. In 1968 George took over the company, since retired this exhibit shows both some of his industrial work and architectural shots around Philadelphia as well as some innovative photographs juxtaposed with them.
“The response to our photo gallery room, which has been open for over 3 years, that features periodic vintage and contemporary photography exhibits has been tremendous,” boasts owner Jim Episale. “We’re committed showcasing both vintage and contemporary photos at the Jersey Shore.
Also on display at Unshredded Nostalgias’ upstairs poster gallery is “African Americans on the Big Screen,” which has been extended to run through July 15.
